Why would you choose GM Construction to build your home? The answer is multifaceted. I started building in the Gallatin Valley in 1991. Back then building was a way to get through college. I was making progress toward an engineering degree, when my oldest brother was killed in a car accident. In the process of healing from that tragedy, we built my parents home. Through this experience, I learned the difference between building a home versus building a house. There is a difference. When the design and construction all come together in perfect harmony to reflect the personality and lifestyle of the person we are building for, that is the intangible that makes the job worthwhile. It is those things that bring life to structures. We build more than shelter, we create space for belonging and rejuvenating. The place you can’t wait to get back to, your home, because there is no place like it.
My experience in the industry is vast. I have worked on homes for doctors, lawyers, CEOs, architects, teachers, etcetera. Pick a profession and I have worked on there homes. One of the most challenging projects I have undertaken was to rebuild a 100 year old church steeple. The logistics of this project, along with the historic nature of the building, made this the most delicate project ever. The proximity to power lines and busy streets made the setting of the steeple an experience I will never forget. However, some of my favorite projects have been fireplace remodels where we take a cold, uninviting room and warmth, coziness, and heart to the home. A room that makes you want to curl up on a chair with a hot cup off coffee and recharge. Let us bring this to you and your family!
